New Opt-Out Granular Control

DND is turned on manually or automatically when a lead unsubscribed. This means that the Automator will not send any future emails or SMS to that contact as the contact has DND (Do Not Disturb). Up to now if you activated DND, you lost the ability to communicate with the lead across all channels. That has now been improved!😎

Now, you can choose which specific channels you want to cut communications while keeping others active. 

Everyone has preferences when it comes to how they communicate; some prefer text while others like email. DND Split is the perfect solution to the above situation, by activating DND on the channels they don’t like, you can select their preferred channel(s) of communication. Using a user’s favored method of contact makes them more responsive to your messages.

Some Important Points:

  • DND “On”: Now means no automated/manual outbound messages.
  • DND “Partial”: Some Channels are unavailable for Outbound messaging.
  • Integrations:  Integrations (Google or Facebook) are still functional and will appear as channels. If integration is dropped and is later re-connected the previous state will continue.
  • Partial DND applies for manual changes only, workflow automation like “unsubscribe” workflow will still turn DND for ALL channels.
  • Changes are not immediate and will reflect in 4 to 8 hours. Keep that in mind.
