Do you charge a Credit Card Convenience Fee?

We acknoledge the convenience of paying for services using your credit card, this is why this is the most common payment type used among our customers.

While most businesses charge an extra fee to pay with a credit card, Xtreme Websites covers 100% of credit card fees on all invoices up to $1,000.

Any invoice over $1,000 will incur a 3% convenience fee for Credit Card & Paypal transactions. This fee can be avoided by using ACH or eCheck as your payment type.

Where can I learn more about Convenience Fees? The use of credit card convenience fees among businesses is widely used, simply because there is a hard cost associated with accepting credit cards. Instead of passing this cost to all transactions we decided to cover the costs ourselves up to a certain amount. You can learn more about this topic extensively here.

Can I use ACH for one invoice and Credit Card for another? Yes, you can use a different payment method at the time of payment. Please note that the convenience fee gets added based on your default payment method, therefore if you would like to avoid that fee for the respective invoice, you will have to change your payment method to ACH instead.

I have used Credit Card by default, how do I use ACH instead? If you want to use ACH as a default paymet type for all your invoices, you can simply add and select your ACH billing info under Payment Methods.

What if I want to use a rewards credit card? If your credit card gives you points, credits or cash back, you would have to determine if those benefits outweigh the convenience fee. If yes then you can continue using them; if not, it woud be best to use eCheck instead.

What if I want to use a credit card for greater flexibility? If you use your credit card in order to allow you additional flexibility with your payment dates, then you have to determine if this convenience outweighs the fee you would pay on the invoice. If yes then you can continue using them; if not, it woud be best to use eCheck instead.
