Yes, we can manage your website even if your domain is registered with another company.
That said, we cannot manage the domain itself unless it is registered through us or transferred to us. Most clients prefer transferring their domain to us so everything is handled in one place and nothing gets missed.
If you want or need to keep your domain where it is, no problem. You would simply remain responsible for managing your DNS settings at your current registrar.
We will send you the exact DNS records to add or update, and you would copy/paste them into your domain provider’s DNS panel.
A Record: Points your domain to a server IP address (often used to connect your website hosting).
CNAME Record: Aliases one domain to another (commonly used for www pointing to your main domain, or for certain services).
MX Records: Controls where your email is delivered (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
TXT Records: Verification and security records (often used for domain ownership verification, SPF/DKIM/DMARC email authentication, and other services).
NS Records: Nameserver records that control which provider manages your DNS (usually only changed if moving DNS management entirely).
SRV Records: Used for some specialized services (certain email, VoIP, and app configurations).
If you keep your registrar, we will guide you on what to edit, but the actual DNS changes must be done by you on your registrar side. Please note that any related troubleshooting or suppport would need to be handled by your current domain registrar.
If you prefer that we manage everything for you, you can transfer your domain to us. This is the easiest route for most clients because it keeps the website, DNS, and domain management under one roof.
If this sounds complicated and you’d prefer us taking care of everything, you should initiate your domain transfer here > (you would need to checkout and register with our domains platform which is separate from client area)
