How do I transfer a domain out?

If you require to transfer your domain to another registrar, you can do it by following these instructions:

1. Login on https://my.xtremeaddons.com/ > Domains > Manage Domain > Registrar Lock > Unlock the domain (if locked)

2. Go to > Domains > Manage Domain > Management Tools > Get EPP Code (other registrars require this code)

3. Initiate the transfer request with the external registrar

Important to Note:

• Process may take 3 to 5 days depending on the external registrar
• If you have any service with Xtreme, we will not be responsible for any technical details after the domain is released.
• If you have emails attached to your email, emails will stop working until the transfer is complete.
• If you transfer to another registrar, you will have to pay at least 1 extra year of registration, however any remaining term purchased through us will be transferred to them as well (it will not be lost).
• If you only would like to add/edit some DNS records, you don’t have to transfer your domain to another registrar, you can simply order the “DNS Management” addon for only $9/yr.
