AI SEO Assistant Overview

Leverage AI to help craft your page titles, descriptions, and alt texts. AI can streamline the writing process and offer options and ideas for creating effective SEO content. Although AI is a powerful tool for optimizing SEO, it’s important to review the generated content to ensure it meets your quality standards.

When you first access the AI Content Assistant, you’ll need to set up your AI Business Profile. Once established, the AI Content Assistant will utilize this profile consistently, no matter where you access it from.

To generate SEO content using AI, navigate to a page’s SEO settings with the following steps:

1. In the side panel, click SEO & Settings.
2. Select SEO.
3. In the SEO settings, click Generate Tags with AI.

AI SEO Assistant Pop-up #

The AI SEO Assistant pop-up acts as a centralized hub for managing and reviewing SEO settings across your site. It provides a summary of your site’s SEO health and helps address issues to improve search result rankings.

Note: By default, you can only view errors, page meta tags, and alt text images for indexed pages. Pages set to “No-Index” or draft won’t be visible unless you uncheck the “Indexed Only” box to view all pages.

Page SEO #

Generating Tags for Individual Pages: #

• To create the page title or description, click the sparkle icon in the input field.
• To generate both the page title and description simultaneously, click the three dots and select Generate Page Tags.

Generating Tags for Multiple Pages: #

• To create tags for all pages, click the Generate Meta Tags button and select Generate Tags for All Pages.
  • Note: This will override any existing tags.
• To generate tags for pages that are missing them, click the Generate Meta Tags button and choose Generate Missing Tags Only.

After reviewing the suggestions:

• Click Apply suggestions if satisfied to apply the generated content.
• If not satisfied, click Try again to see new suggestions, while previous ones remain available.
• Copy a suggestion by clicking the copy icon.

Image Alt Text #

Using AI to Generate Alt Text for Site Images: #

• For individual images, click the sparkle icon in the input field to create alt text.

Generating Alt Text for Multiple Images: #

• To create alt text for all images, click the Generate Alt Text button and select Generate Alt Text for All Images.
  • Note: This will override any existing alt text.
• To generate alt text for images that are missing it, click the Generate Alt Text button and select Generate Missing Alt Text Only.

Internal Links #

The Internal Links page displays all internal page links. Use the language selector to view links by language. All page types, including regular pages, popups, privacy pages, and dynamic page rows, are scanned. Filters include:

• Broken: Displays only broken links.
• Missing Link Text: Shows links with missing text.
• All: Displays all links.

The table includes:

• Destination URL: Opens in a new tab.
• Page: Opens the page in the editor.
• Link To: What the link is connected to, e.g., an icon.
• Link Text: The text linked.
• Status: Option to fix errors in the editor.

External Links #

The External Links page displays all external links. Use the language selector for language-specific views. Filters include:

• Broken: Shows only broken links.
• Missing Link Text: Displays links with missing text.
• Nofollow: Displays links set to “No Follow.”
• Social Links: Displays only social links.
• All: Displays all links.

The table includes:

• No Follow: Indicates if “No Follow” is set.
