Citation shows ‘Live’ on report, but when I check, it says ‘Claim this business’. Do I need to claim it?

Some citation sites allow us to edit listings without actually claiming them. In these instances, we either submit a request to the site’s support team or simply suggest the edits via the feedback form. Once our edits go live, we update the campaign report with this information.

If you see the option to claim a listing, we recommend doing it. Almost all claim options require some sort of verification (that only a business owner can complete). Therefore, we only make sure that listing information matches the data that was submitted for the campaign, and then leave the verification to be completed by the business owner — if they wish to do so*.
