The Resend Emails to Unopened feature provides a way to re-engage contacts who did not open your initial email. By targeting these recipients with a follow-up email, you can enhance visibility, improve open rates, and drive more conversions. This feature also offers customization and tracking options, allowing you to optimize your email marketing efforts effectively.
Navigate to the Marketing tab in the left-hand menu, then select Emails > Campaigns.
Locate the email campaign you want to resend, then click the three dots next to it. Select the resend option.
Set a scheduled time for the resend.Â
Note: Emails can be sent to non-openers 12 hours – 10 days after the original send date.
Customize the subject line to make it more appealing and engaging.
Click Confirm to finalize the changes and schedule the resend.
The campaign will be sent to contacts who did not open the previous email, based on the specified date and time.
Alternatively, you can create a new campaign, or open a drafted campaign to set up unopened email resends right from the send or schedule screen.
Scroll to the Resend Emails options, then enable it to set the resend duration & subject line.
After sending or scheduling the email, you will then be able to monitor the status from the email campaign dashboard. Utilize the 3-dots actions menu to pause or cancel the campaign as required.
The Resend to Unopened Emails feature is an invaluable tool for improving email engagement and maximizing the reach of your campaigns. By leveraging custom subject lines, and performance tracking, you can create more impactful and data-driven marketing strategies.Â
Imagine an online store running a weekend sale campaign. After the initial email blast, they notice that a portion of their contact list has not opened the email. By using the Resend to Unopened Emails feature, the store can send a follow-up email to these recipients with an updated subject line. This approach increases visibility, encourages clicks, and ultimately drives more traffic to their website, boosting sales.
