Tags are a fundamental feature of the CRM, providing a way to efficiently organize and retrieve contact information. By categorizing contacts based on specific criteria, tags make it easier to manage and locate them within the system.
Consider managing a database with thousands of leads at various stages of your sales funnel. Tags enable you to categorize these contacts by their current status (e.g., new lead, hot lead, appointment booked). This functionality is crucial for handling large volumes of data and ensuring that no lead is overlooked or lost.
Navigate to the Contacts section and select a contact to view their details.
In the Tags area, you can add new tags by typing the tag name and pressing enter.Â
To apply an existing tag, select it from the list dropdown or utilize the search bar to easily locate it!Â
To remove a tag, simply click the “X” next to the tag.
To add or remove tags in bulk, start by selecting the desired contacts, then click the add tag, or remove tag icon in the Bulk Actions panel. Clicking the icon will open a dialog where you can either choose existing tags to apply or select tags to remove from the contacts. After selecting the appropriate tags, confirm your actions to apply the changes across all selected contacts. This will efficiently update their tagging, allowing for better organization of your contacts.
Workflows can be configured to automatically apply or remove tags based on specific triggers, such as a change in the contact’s stage in the pipeline or the addition of a new contact to the system. This automation enhances efficiency and ensures consistent tagging of contacts.
