The Messaging Tab within your Chat Widget allows you to configure the language and content for the messages sent when a chat is ending. Furthermore, it provides you the opportunity to update the acknowledgment icon as well as its placeholder color. This guide will teach you about all these settings, ensuring you are fully equipped to personalize your chat widget messages.
Let’s begin by expanding the Acknowledgement tab within a Live Chat Widget. The first field that will be displayed is the Acknowledgement Message field. Here, you can enter the text that should appear when the interaction is complete.Â
Encourage your clients to provide feedback on the interaction by entering a personalized message in this field.Â
In the Feedback Submission Note section, you may wish to convey your appreciation for their time, or provide a link to additional resources or a relevant page for further assistance.
Enter a message to allow users to restart the chat. A “Click Here” button will be displayed below your message.

You will be prompted to enter either a phone number or an email address that your clients can use to reach your support team. While this step is optional, it is highly recommended to provide an alternative contact method which can aid in a faster response time.
Here, you can enter the text that should appear after the form has been completed.
Include a warm greeting that should precede the Acknowledgement message.
