Workflows are a series of actions the system will complete for you, allowing you to take a hands-off approach to operations. The Trigger is the piece that starts it all, activating the series based on one or more predefined events. The plenty of options make it easy for you to use them to meet your unique objectives.
To access the workflow trigger, click the “Add New Trigger” button to get started!
The Choose a Workflow Trigger feature allows you to select the trigger type assigned to a workflow. There are various trigger types available, each related to a different category in your CRM system, such as:
By selecting the appropriate trigger type, you can customize your workflow’s behavior to better align with your specific business needs.
You can select the trigger you would like to work with using the dropdown menu under Workflow Trigger.
When creating a workflow trigger, you can name the trigger title according to your preference. This feature improves the organization of workflows by allowing users to identify and locate specific triggers quickly. Users can choose any name that aligns with their naming conventions, making managing multiple workflows within the platform easier.
Without a filter, the workflow will only trigger the default behavior. Adding a filter lets you narrow down the specific situations that will initiate the workflow. Each workflow trigger has specific filters, accessed by clicking + Add Filter.
Once clicked, you can choose from the available filter options specific to that trigger. This customization option helps you tailor workflows to meet your unique requirements.
Once satisfied with your filters click Save Trigger and you’re done. Every Trigger has it’s own specifications so we encourage you to read the articles inside this category to familiarize yourself with how they work and how to use them.
