The Find Opportunity action allows you to quickly locate an opportunity associated with a contact. Whether you need to update an existing opportunity or make workflow decisions based on an opportunity’s status, this action helps streamline opportunity management.
To use this workflow action, navigate to Automation > Workflows in your CRM and open an existing workflow or create a new one.
Choose a suitable Trigger to determine when this action should run, and click on the “+” icon to add an action. Search for and select Find Opportunity from the list.
When searching for an opportunity, you can specify which one should be identified:
This setting ensures that the correct opportunity is retrieved and updated based on your workflow’s needs.
Select the Add Field option to specify additional criteria to refine your search, such as filtering by opportunity ID, status, name, source, pipeline stage, and much more.
This section displays opportunity details found by the action, allowing you to reference them in subsequent steps within the workflow.
Once configured, save the action and publish the workflow to activate it.
By using the Find Opportunity action, you can automate opportunity tracking, making it easier to update records or trigger next steps based on existing opportunities.
