Disabling a calendar service menu temporarily removes it from your active offerings without permanently deleting it. This is particularly useful for services that are seasonal or not currently available. Here’s how you can do it:
Start by accessing the Calendars Settings section within the CRM. This is where all your scheduled services and their settings are housed. Select the “Service Menu” tab to view the list of service menus you have created.
Identify the service you wish to disable. If the Status of the Service Menu is listed as “Draft,” it indicates that the service has already been disabled. Ensure that you select the appropriate service menu, as each one may have its own calendar setup.
Click on the 3-dot dropdown menu associated with the service menu you have chosen. This will open a menu with several options. From the dropdown menu, select the option to disable the service.Â
A popup window will appear asking for confirmation. Click “Save” to proceed.Â
Once disabled, the scheduling link for the service menu will no longer allow appointments to be scheduled and will redirect users to a 404 error page.
When you’re ready to offer the service again, enabling it is just as simple. Follow these steps to bring your service back online:
Go to the Calendars section and find the service you previously disabled.Â
Click on the 3-dot dropdown menu next to the grayed-out service. This will bring up a menu with the option to enable the service. Select “Activate Service Menu” from the dropdown.Â
Confirm the activation by clicking “Save”.Â
The calendar will be instantly re-enabled and no longer appear grayed out. This means it’s active and available for bookings once again.
