The ability to disable Google Organic Booking offers businesses the flexibility to manage their online presence more effectively. This feature not only enhances control over booking availability but also allows for customized visibility, guiding potential clients toward your preferred booking channels. By utilizing this feature, you can prevent unwanted bookings and ensure that appointments align with your business strategies.
Before diving into the process, let’s explore the primary benefits of utilizing this feature:
Start by logging into your account. Navigate to the settings section to begin the process.
Within the settings menu, find and select ‘Calendars’ followed by ‘Connections’. Here, you’ll access the ‘Google Organic Booking’ section.
Toggle the “Disable Google Organic Booking” switch. If the option to “Enable Google Organic Booking” is displayed, the service has already been disabled.
This action will prompt you to verify that you wish to disable the Google Organic Booking feature for your selected services. Select the “Confirm” button to proceed.
Visit your Google My Business page and click on “Book Online.” From here, select any calendar you’ve created in the CRM. This selection will be reflected under the services tab on Google, without the direct booking option.
Note: It may take 24 to 48 hours for this change to be reflected on your Google My Business Profile.
Imagine you run a boutique spa and prefer clients to book through your website to ensure they read through service descriptions and policies. By disabling Google Organic Booking, you direct potential clients to your preferred booking channel, ensuring they are well-informed before making an appointment.
Whether you’re aiming to enhance control, customize visibility, or prevent unwanted bookings, this feature offers the flexibility to manage your services with precision.
