Utilizing the Advanced Accordion Widget

The Advanced Accordion widget in Turnkey Websites™ offers enhanced design flexibility, allowing for individual customization of each accordion item. This widget is perfect for displaying compact content like FAQs, product highlights, or upcoming events, enabling visitors to easily access information they need.

Adding the Advanced Accordion Widget #

1. Access the Widgets Panel:
   • In the side panel, click on Widgets.
2. Add the Widget:
   • Search for Advanced Accordion and drag it to your desired location on the canvas.

Managing Accordion Content #

To manage the content within your accordion:

1. Open Content Management:
   • Click the accordion widget to open the floating menu and select Manage Accordion Content.
2. Content Actions:
   • Add a New Item: Click Add Item to introduce a new section.
   • Rename: Click the three-dot icon, select Rename, and enter a new name.
   • Duplicate: Click the three-dot icon and select Duplicate. The new item will be titled “Copy.”
   • Delete: Click the three-dot icon and choose Delete.
3. Add Widgets to Items:
   • Expand the desired accordion item and drag and drop any widget into it. Each item can contain different widgets and layouts.

Accordion Design #

The Advanced Accordion widget allows for unique customization, with design settings available for each item.

Design Settings #

1. Layout Options:
   • Show One Expanded Item at a Time: As a visitor expands a new item, previously expanded items collapse.
   • Show First Item Expanded: The first accordion item is expanded by default.
   • Text Direction: Set text direction to right or left.
2. Item Settings:
   • Title Text: Customize font, weight, size, color, format, and alignment.
   • Toggle Icon: Customize the plus sign used to expand items, adjusting its color and size.
   • Toggle Area: Customize the area around the toggle by selecting a background color or image, and then setting the padding and corner radius.
   • Header: Customize the visible part of the accordion with background color or image, and configure the border.
3. Frame Settings:
   • The frame is the space around and between accordion items, controlling their containers. Adjust the background, alignment, spacing, size, and animation.
